Wied Ghollieqa
Kappara
Malta
Welcome to Bramble Garlands, a development of eight luxury homes clustered in one exclusive residential complex on the flank of Wied Ghollieqa at Kappara.
Wied Ghollieqa is a valley separating the southern fringe of Kappara from
the heights of the University of Malta in Msida. Though just a kilometre away from Regional Road, one of Malta's
busiest arteries, this valley offers a wealth of natural beauty.
Wied Ghollieqa is a spectacle of Mediterranean flora. Various species of shrubs, bushes and
creepers thrive side by side. Amongst these plants, one can find the Bramble (Ghollieqa) for which the locality is
known.

The hundreds of trees and the terraced fields with carpets of different
shades of green enrich the vista of this unspoilt environment.
Bramble Garlands overlooks this natural spot. It boasts of a prime central location with exceptional
peacefulness and tranquillity.
The configuration of Bramble Garlands projects the concept of the hamlet
whereby the individual dwelling units are clustered and terraced to appear as
one whole. This concept, as well as the
blend of traditional Mediterranean architecture and modern materials and
accessories, make Bramble Garlands a particularly pleasant and comfortable
living environment.

The entire estate of Bramble Garlands was carefully constructed and finished to high specifications. Considerable attention to detail has been given to the design and functionality of the individual accommodation and the communal facilities available to provide attractive low maintenance homes to the discerning owner and the judicious investor. The homes at Bramble Garlands are individually named after selected flora of the locality.
The internal configuration is similar.
However, each home has its own particular setting that exploits its
position within the estate, maximising light and optimising living style. The common configuration is mirrored,
rotated and terraced, resulting in eight detached or semi-detached dwellings
organised around an open central space occupied mainly by a pool.
The internal accommodation consists of two clusters of rooms. One cluster makes up the living quarters
which surround an imposing hall. And a
winding corridor with a few steps leads to another cluster of rooms making up
the sleeping quarters. The living areas
include an entrance hall, a sitting/dining room, a cloak room, a kitchen, a
breakfast room and living room. The
sleeping quarters consist of three double bedrooms with the main bedroom having
a bathroom en-suite, a main bathroom and a wide lobby area. Some homes also have a very large leisure or
general purpose extra room as well as box room. Each home has adjoining
gardens, patios and/or Sun terraces.

Bramble Garlands offers comprehensive communal facilities that make for a
pleasant and secure living environment.
Access to the estate is controlled by three self-locking gates controlled
exclusively by residents. The main gate
enables residents and their guests to walk into the estate. This gate is linked to the intercom system
provided in each home.
Two remote-controlled gates are also installed on either side of the
estate to allow residents to drive in and out respectively to
and from the basement area. Each
of these two gates is complemented by an electrically operated door which
operates automatically to secure the entrance and exit points of the basement
which comprises a two-car lock-up garage allocated for each home, optional
resident's store-rooms and a communal equipment control room.

Two lifts connect the basement area with the communal gardens and
pathways which lead to the home entrances.
The communal gardens are embellished by numerous decorative plants
careful selected to blend with the surroundings and to integrate with the
perimeter of each home. The intricate
pathways focus towards the communal pool which is prominently located in the
centre of the estate. The pool area
also affords residents with communal showers and toilets and adjoining
genitor's quarters.
